UFC Returns to Fight Island: Here is the official line-up of events

UFC has revealed the line-up for their return to the Fight Island.

The first event will be UFC 253 headlined by the Middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa. The event is scheduled to take place on September 26, 2020 and the Light Heavyweight title fight between Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz will be the co-main event for the same.

This will be followed by UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana on October 3, 2020. Holly Holm and Irene Aldana were scheduled to fight earlier but Aldana tested positive for the COVID-19 virus which forced UFC to reschedule the fight.

Elsewhere, UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen will be the third event in Fight Island and the event will happen on October 10, 2020. The much-awaited showdown between The Korean Zombie and Brian Ortega will headline the fourth event which happens on October 17, 2020.

The second-stint of UFC in Fight Island will be concluded with UFC 254. The pay-per-view will be headlined by the lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje and is expected to have a stacked card as well. Newly signed Mike Chandler will serve as the backup for the main event.
