Myanmar MMA fighter Tial Thang predicts fireworks ahead of his next fight

Tial Thang will be making his return at ONE: Battleground III when he fights South Korean veteran Song Min Jong at the event.

Thang, who trains at Sanford MMA along with names like Aung La N Sang and Martin Nguyen, will be looking to continue his undefeated run when he steps into the circle against his South Korean counterpart. During his recent interview with ONE Championship, Thang noted that he has worked really hard for the fight and said that the fans can expect fireworks when he fights.

“I worked really, really hard for this camp, and I’ve been in a fight camp since February. So, if you think about it, how long did it take? You know, I sacrificed a lot, and I have not seen my kids or my wife since February. I sacrificed a lot for this fight, and it’s going to show. It’s going to show on fight night, and it’s going to be fireworks. I promise you guys – it’s going to end with a finish,” he said.

He also went on to say that he will be looking for a finish from the start itself.

“The moment I get into that Circle until I hear the ref, I’m going to look for the finish. I’m going to pressure. I’m going to go in there and block his shots, hit him back with three-pieces, four-pieces, whatever, take him down, ground-and-pound. Whatever it takes,” Thang added.
