Stephen Loman has already made a statement in ONE Championship. The Team Lakay star made his promotional debut recently at ONE: Winter Warriors II and went home with a knockout win over number three ranked Yusup Saadulaev.
Now, the Filipino MMA star has his eyes set on Kwon Won II. The South Korean made a huge statement at ONE: Winter Warriors II as well when he stopped Loman’s teammate and former champion Kevin Belingon.
Speaking to South China Morning Post, Loman revealed that he would like to test his skills against Kwon Won II before a potential title fight.
“Kwon Won Il is also very good at mixing his punches and kicking. He caught Kuya Kevin with the liver shot and I think he has good hands. So I think I would like to test myself [against] Kwon Won Il. Yusup, my last opponent was a southpaw, I would like to face Kwon so we would have a different fight stance. I want to prove that I will do my best to study first, make a game plan to fight him, and get the win,” Loman said.
