Stephen Loman made a blockbuster ONE Championship debut recently when he knocked out number three-ranked Yusup Saadulaev.
The Team Lakay star who already knows what it feels like to be a world champion due to his record-breaking run in BRAVE Combat Federation has his eyes set on the top. Loman’s Team Lakay teammate and head coach Mark Sangiao’s son Jhanlo Sangiao believes that people in the division should be scared of Loman.
“Stephen is a beast. He can knock people out, he can wrestle. He's the longest champion in Brave CF. People need to be scared of him. He's better [than Lineker and Fernandes] He gives his best in the gym. If he faces Lineker or Bibiano - I think Stephen will win,” Jhanlo told in an interview with Sportskeeda.
Loman currently holds a professional record of 14-2 to his name and has not suffered a loss since 2016. He is also on an impressive nine-fight winning streak and was supposed to fight former UFC Fighter John Lineker in his ONE Championship debut. The fight, however, did not go through and Loman ended up facing Saadulaev in the end.
The 29-year-old has already expressed that he is aiming for the top of the division in Bantamweight and it would be interesting to see what 2022 holds for the Filipino.
