UFC Fighter Rafael Fiziev has called out Tennis star Rafael Nadal for a special rules MMA fight. The UFC fighter challenged Nadal after his victory last day at UFC Vegas 58 against Rafael Dos Anjos.
"Now I want to make a new challenge who is the best Rafa in the sport. Rafael Nadal, come here, come here," Fiziev said in his post-fight interview.
The UFC star noted that he is the best ‘Rafael’ in the UFC after his win over Rafael Dos Anjos and went on to call-out the Spanish tennis star.
Later, on Twitter, Fiziev also suggested a special-rule set for the fight with four rounds being tennis and one round being MMA.
“First 4 rounds tennis ????, 5th round MMA @RafaelNadal,” he tweeted.
A former Police officer, Fiziev is on an impressive run in the UFC Lightweight division. He currently holds a professional MMA record of 12-1 to his name and is on a six-fight winning streak. Fiziev started his career back in 2015 at WIN FC and fought in Road FC, Primal FC, and Titan FC before making it to the UFC in 2019.
Though he suffered a loss in his debut, Fiziev bounced back strongly from the same and has been climbing the ranks ever since.

As for Nadal, the 36-year-old has a record 22 grand slams titles to his name. He is currently ranked fourth in the World Rankings and holds a long list of records to his name. The celebrated career of Nadal has seen him win 14 French Open titles and 92 ATP Single titles which include 36 Masters titles. He also holds the longest single-surface win streak in the Open Era with 81 consecutive wins on Clay.
