I am the biggest name in the sport after Rousey and McGregor says Paddy Pimblett

UFC star Paddy Pimblett said that he is probably the biggest name in the sport of MMA. The English MMA star noted on the UFC Destined: Pimblett vs Vargas Part 2 on ESPN+ episode where he compared his stardom to the stardom of former UFC champions Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor.

“I’m probably the biggest name in the sport. There’s Ronda Rousey, there’s Conor McGregor and now there’s Paddy the Baddy lad,” the Liverpool native said.

He secured an impressive win at UFC London this past weekend and improved his professional MMA record to 18-3 thanks to the win.

This was the second-straight win of Paddy in the UFC after making his promotional debut back in UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till where he knocked out Luigi Vendramini in the first round.

He is currently on a four-fight winning streak at the moment and had recently attracted some heat from the MMA fans when he tagged former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov as a ‘boring fighter’. Paddy also said that Khabib should not be in the Greatest of All Time debates.

Prior to signing with the UFC, Paddy had a great run in Cage Warriors where he is a former champion just like Conor McGregor.
