Paddy Pimblett recently made headlines with his UFC debut. The former Cage Warriors Champion secured a stoppage win in his promotional debut against Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night 191 and is now looking forward to bigger things.

Even before he made his debut in the UFC, Paddy was making headlines with his interviews with the most notable one being his comments about former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. And now, Paddy has hit out at Manchester United and revealed that he would like to fight Bruno Fernandes.

“I’d probably pick one for each team. But I reckon just because he’s so overrated, Bruno Fernandes,” Paddy said to BBC when asked about the footballer he would like to fight from the English Premier League.

Paddy further went on to add that recently re-joined Cristiano Ronaldo is the only world-class player in the Manchester United Squad.

“No he’s not world-class – I don’t think anyone in that United team is world-class apart from [Cristiano] Ronaldo,” Paddy added.

Before closing, Paddy went off on Paul Pogba as well.

“Paul Pogba is not world-class. He can't play well for two games and then be bad for three and be called world-class...if he was consistent, he'd be world-class...all day,” he concluded.
