ONE Championship is set to return to Singapore with ONE: Reign of Dynasties on October 9, 2020. The event will be headlined by the ONE Strawweight Muay-Thai Showdown between Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Josh Tonna when the card will also feature Indian MMA fighters Rahul Raju and Roshan Mainam.

Rahul Raju vs. Amir Khan

India’s Rahul Raju will be locking horns with Amir Khan of Singapore at the event in a Lightweight Contest. Rahul is coming into the fight on the back of a two-fight winning streak having secured wins against Furqan Cheema and Richard Corminal. Both of these wins of Rahul came via dominant submissions as well and had positioned him well in the division.

Elsewhere, Amir Khan is currently 12-7 in his career and had suffered a submission defeat in his last fight against Kimihiro Eto. Amir has been on a slow run lately having won only two out of his last five-fights. Amir, however, holds the record for the most number of knockout wins in ONE Championship and will be a tough challenge for Rahul.

Roshan Mainam vs. Liu Peng Shuai

After making his ONE Championship debut back in November 2019, Roshan Mainam will be returning to the ONE Championship arena on October 9, 2020. He has an extensive wrestling background in his resume which he put to good use in his debut where he picked up a first-round submission victory. Currently 4-2 in his career, Roshan will be looking for another finish when he faces his Chinese counterpart at the event at ONE: Reign of Dynasties.

Liu Peng Shuai, on the other hand, is 6-4 in his career and had secured a submission win in his last fight at ONE Championship against Elipitua Siregar. He had made his ONE Championship debut in 2016 and is 3-1 in the promotion with all his wins coming via stoppages making him a force to reckon with inside the cage.

The Main Event and the Co-Main Event

Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will be looking to keep the ONE: Strawweight Muay-Thai title around his waist when he fights challenger Josh Tonna. Sam is riding on a three-fight winning streak across Muay-Thai and Kickboxing when Josh Tonna had to secure two back-to-back wins to get his shot at the titles.

In the co-main event, undefeated Aleksi Toivonen will be looking to keep his perfect record intact as he fights Reece McLaren. Reece comes into the fight after securing a win against Canadian-Indian fighter Gurdarshan Mangat which also snapped his two-fight losing streak. Aleksi had a dominant submission win against Akihiro Fujisawa in his last ONE Championship outing and is 7-0 in his career.

Below is the complete fight card for the event.
