Jorge Masvidal broke the Internet a few months back when he knocked out Ben Askren. The knockout victory landed Masvidal in the record books for the quickest finish in the UFC and when he fights Nate Diaz at UFC 244, the fans have all the right to expect something similar from Masvidal.

Masvidal’s opponent, Nate Diaz, however, is keeping his guard up and is indeed expecting a quick burst early on.

“Yes, I expect it all. I figure he might try to run out and take me out. I figure he might understand that I’m not his f***ing layman is that might kind of come a different route. But I'm expecting it all. He’s a strategic fighter, been around forever and you're not just there because you’re there. You run that long and fought these fights because you’re just some lucky guy, you know. So I'm expecting a hard fight, the best fighter I’ve ever fought,” Nate told in the recent UFC 244 Media Call.

While Masvidal is coming off his win against Ben Askren, Nate is coming off a dominant win against former champion Anthony Pettis. And when asked about the BMF title fight with Masvidal happening at the perfect time, Nate had the following response.

“I don't think it's ever going to be the perfect time or perfect place. It's just time when it's time, you know what I’m saying. When s*** happens, it happens. I believe, it's just what’s happening,” he said.

UFC 244 will be live and exclusive in India on 3rd November 2019 from 07:30 am (IST) on SONY TEN 2 & SONY TEN 2 HD.
