Indian Ambassador to Bahrain welcomes Mohammed Farhad following BRAVE CF 47

Mohammed Farhad has had a week to remember in both his professional career and personal life. After earning a KO of the Year candidacy over rival Uloomi Karim on BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination, and being welcomed by top Indian Businessmen in Bahrain, he has received the utmost praise from His Excellency Piyush Srivastava, India Ambassador to Bahrain.

Mohammed Farhad was in action last Thursday, at Arad Fort, in Bahrain, when he scored a thunderous knockout over Uloomi Karim, which has been hailed as one of the best KO’s of the year across the entire combat sports landscape. Clips of the fight-ending sequence have made the rounds on social media, increasing Mr. Farhad’s stand in the sport and bringing more attention to the mixed martial arts scene in his native India and beyond. 

Immediately after the victory, the result of Mr. Farhad’s contest was conveyed to HE Piyush Srivastava by BRAVE CF vice-president for India and South-East Asia, Mohammed Mansoor. His Excellency then invited Mr. Farhad to an official visit to congratulate him on his victory.

The Ambassador also made sure to thank His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for providing opportunities for athletes around the world to showcase their abilities on a global platform, and congratulated His Highness on the success of BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination.

During the meeting, Mr. Farhad was congratulated on his win over Pakistan’s Uloomi Karim, which made headlines around the world and went viral on the internet. Mr. Farhad was also praised for representing India on the most global stage in mixed martial arts and bringing glory to his country through his sporting achievements.
