Mohammed Farhad gets grand welcome in Bahrain by Indian community

Indian MMA star Mohammed Farhad got a grand welcome last day ahead of his upcoming fight at BRAVE CF 57. Farhad was felicitated by the Indian communities in Bahrain as they rallied behind the knockout king who will be fighting undefeated Egyptian Maysara Mohamed on March 11, 2022.

Farhad was invited to the Kannada Sangha Bahrain on March 8 and was felicitated by members of the community while he was there. The members of the community thanked Farhad for representing the nation and ensured that they will be in the stadium to support him.

After his felicitation at the Kannada Sangha, Farhad received a surprise at the elegant Wyndham Garden Manama when the Indian community visited him with a cake to show their support.

Farhad comes into the fight Mohamed on the back of an impressive knockout win over Uloomi Karim of Pakistan. His performance against Uloomi had earned him a KO of the Year nomination as well. The Indian currently holds a record of 12-3 to his name with 11 of his 12 wins coming via stoppages.

He is also 4-1 in BRAVE Combat Federation. Farhad, who has been part of BRAVE CF since BRAVE CF 1, has all four wins via stoppages and his only loss came against Hamza Kooheji, who will be fighting for the Bantamweight title at BRAVE CF 57.

The Indian could be one win away from getting a shot at the BRAVE Bantamweight title which raises the stake for his showdown at BRAVE CF 57.

BRAVE CF 57 will be headlined by the Bantamweight title bout between Hamza Kooheji and Brad Katona. The event will also feature the much-awaited Light Heavyweight title rematch between Mohammad Fakhreddine and Said Maalem when Abdisalam Kubanychbek will fight Cleiton Silva for the interim Lightweight title.
