Miesha Tate has apparently ruffled some feathers with her comment on OnlyFans. The former UFC Champion recently responded to a fan on YouTube that suggested that she should start an OnlyFans account.

“Nowhere in this video did I say I was desperate,” Tate replied from her account on YouTube.

This comment has not sat well with many people. UFC Fighter Julia Avila noted that the comment from Miesha is aggravating and went on to give her take on the situation.

“This is aggravating. Yes women have an only fans and what of it? Maybe they want attention. Maybe they want an extra dollar. Maybe they just WANT TO CELEBRATE THEIR WOMANHOOD AND HOW F**ING GORGEOUS THEY ARE. it’s not our place to judge or to tear down another woman for it. Fix your crown queen before casting stones on another because, honey, NONE of us are without fault and it’s a hard f**king world without having to tear one another down.  rather than criticizing how about, ‘it’s not for me’, plain and simple,” Avila commented on an Instagram post by WMMARankings.

Avila, however, gave Miesha the benefit of the doubt and added that Miesha is always a role model.

“I really hope that this was taken out of context because I’ve always respected her as a role model for other people. So I’ll give the benefit of a doubt,” Avila added.

A long list of MMA fighters has accounts on OnlyFans with some fighters even claiming that it gives them a great source of income.
