Malla Yudha MMA: Surya Sagar vs. Shahbas to be K1 Main Event Fight

Malla Yudha MMA will be rolling out its first event on October 16, 2021, in Bangalore. The team today announced that the K1 Headliner of the event will be between Surya Sagar and Shahbas.

Surya Sagar, hailing from Karnataka, has been a force to reckon with in the Muay-Thai circuit having picked up multiple accolades. He recently won the WBC Muay-Thai India title and has a string of international wins on his resume as well.

Shahbas, meanwhile, is coming off an excellent campaign at the WAKO National Championship in Goa. He picked up a gold medal in the -67 KG Category at the event for Kerala and will be looking to keep the momentum going on.

Malla Yudha is expected to announce more fights for the event going forward with Mixed Martial Arts and Kickboxing disciplines being the focus.
