Matrix Fight Night 5: Sanjeet Budhwar vs. Chaitanya Gavali added to the card

An exciting Featherweight showdown between Sanjeet Budhwar and Chaitanya Gavali has been added to the Matrix Fight Night 5 card.

The announcement was made by Matrix Fight Night through their social media channels earlier today and this is the fifth fight announced for the event which is set to take place on December 15^th in Dubai.

Chaitanya comes into the fight on the back of his outing at Thailand Fighting Championship against Rin Saroth which had a controversial ending and will be looking to bounce back strongly when he steps into the cage against Sanjeet Budhwar. One of the most experienced names in the Indian MMA scene, Chaitanya has won titles in two foreign promotions across two weight classes and holds a record of 6-6 to his name.

Sanjeet, on the other hand, will be looking to build on the momentum he gained after his victory over Shyam Anand at Matrix Fight Night 4 in Dubai. He had stopped Shyam Anand in the first round in the fight and holds a professional record of 5-1 to his name with his only defeat coming against Anshul Jubli.

As we reported earlier, Matrix Fight Night 5 will be headlined by Pawan Maan Singh and Sandeep Dahiya when the showdown between Anshul Jubli and Srikant Sekhar will be the co-main event. Also on the card is Sumeet Khade vs. Angad Bisht and Ravinder Balhara vs. Jason Ramesh Solomon.
