Jeremy Miado secures win against Lito Adiwang at ONE X

An All-Filipino clash between Lito Adiwang and Jeremy Miado happened today at ONE X in Singapore. 

The fight had a fast-paced start and it was slowed down halfway through the first round when Miado landed a takedown. While Miado and Adiwang had a to and fro battle in the second round, Adiwang's knee twisted midway through the second-round which forced the referee to stop the fight and give the win to Miado via TKO. 

Lito Adiwang came into the fight on the back off of his loss against Jarred Brooks. Adiwang was riding high on momentum prior to his showdown with Brooks and the Filipino MMA star was climbing the ranks of the Strawweight division at a fast pace.

Fighting out of Team Lakay, Adiwang made his mark in ONE Championship after rising through the ranks of ONE Warrior Series. He made his ONE Warrior Series debut back in 2018 and went on to build a five-fight winning streak in the Warrior Series and ONE Championship before suffering his first loss in the promotion against Koha Minowa.

Jeremy Miado, on the other hand, came into the fight with a professional MMA record of 10-4 to his name. He secured two back-to-back wins over Li Tao Miao prior to his showdown with Lito Adiwang and had a loss to Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke before this. The Filipino made his ONE Championship debut back in 2017 and has been on a roller coaster ride ever since having won four fights and lost four fights.

ONE X is the 10th-anniversary special card from ONE Championship and has a long list of exciting fights on offer for the fans with the event being headlined by the ONE Atomweight title showdown between Angela Lee and Stamp Fairtex. The much-awaited special rules fight between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang is also another major attraction on the card.
