Lito Adiwang and Hexigetu went up against each other in a Strawweight MMA Contest today at ONE: REVOLUTION in Singapore.
It was Adiwang that started on an aggressive note in the first round. The Team Lakay star was chasing Hexigetu and had some success with his striking early on. Hexigetu was on the backfoot throughout the round. The Wushu skillset of Adiwang was on display in the second round as well as he was pushing Hexigetu with his kicks. The activity from Hexigetu dropped drastically in the second round as it was all Adiwang who was landing with his kicks. Hexigetu got himself a yellow card from the referee for a low blow at the end of the second round. The third round opened with Hexigetu seeing his second yellow card for another groin kick.
Lito managed to cautiously sail through to the end of the fight with his kicks and took home a comfortable decision victory.
Lito Adiwang came into the fight on the back of a win against Namiki Kawahara and had a record of 12-3 to his name. Hexigetu, meanwhile, was riding high on a three-fight winning streak with wins over Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Ramon Gonzales, and Ovais Shah.
ONE Revolution was the latest offering from ONE Championship after ONE: Empower which was an all-women fight card from the promotion. ONE Revolution was headlined by three title fights with Christian Lee defending his Lightweight World Title against Ok Rae Yoon when Capitan went up against Mehdi Zatout in a Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title Fight.
Joshua Pacio vs. Yosuke Saruta for the ONE Strawweight title was the third title fight on offer at the event which also had Martin Nguyen, Amir Aliakbari, Victoria Lee, and many others on the card.
