Indian MMA star Kantharaj Agasa is all set to make his ONE Championship debut as he will be fighting Xei Wei of China on May 28, 2021 at ONE: Bull Blast.

ONE Championship today announced that ONE: EMPOWER, ONE Championship's live event scheduled for 28 May at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, has been postponed due to the current COVID-19 situation.

In its place, ONE Championship will air a tape-delayed event on 28 May, ONE: FULL BLAST, which is headlined by a ONE Super Series Muay Thai showdown between Saemapetch Fairtex and Kulabdam “Left Meteorite” Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai.

Training out of Indian Combat Sports Academy in Bangalore, Kantharaj will be in action in a Flyweight contest against Xei Wei and will be looking to make a statement at the event. He is coming off a win against Nawraz Abzakh and holds a professional record of 11-2 to his name. He has a wealth of experience to showcase on his resume having fought in the Super Fight League, BRAVE Combat Federation, and UAE Warriors before joining ONE Championship.

Kantharaj has also represented India at the IMMAF World Championships during his amateur run.

Xei Wei on the other hand currently holds a professional record of 7-3 to his name and is coming off a win against Chan Rothana. He has only suffered one loss in ONE Championship which came against Danny Kingad back in January 2020.
