Exclusive: Indian MMA star Kantharaj Agasa signs with ONE Championship

Indian MMA star Kantharaj Agasa has inked a deal with ONE Championship. Kantharaj revealed the same in an exclusive statement and comes in with a wealth of experience on his resume. Currently 11-2 in his career, Kantharaj has been one of the most successful Indian fighters having competed across multiple promotions.

He was undefeated in the Super Fight League and secured wins in Kumite 1 League and BRAVE Combat Federation as well. His last fight came in BRAVE CF where he secured a huge win against Nawras Abzakh via decision.

In an exclusive statement, Kantharaj Agasa noted that he will be looking for a fight as soon as he recovers from his shoulder injury for which is he currently undergoing treatment. Earlier, we had reported how Kantharaj is recovering from the injury with the help of fellow athlete Syed Rufaid Qadri.

Kantharaj also urged the MMA fans in India to support the genuine fighters who can make a difference for India in the global MMA scene.

As for ONE Championship, Kantharaj joins the long list of Indian fighters in the roster including the likes of Roshan Mainam, Ritu Phogat, Puja Tomar, Himanshu Kaushik, and Rahul Raju among others.
