K-PRO, Pro Karate League set to happen in West Bengal in January

West Bengal is all set to host K-PRO, a Pro Karate League in the month of January. The event is currently scheduled to happen on 23 January 2021 at Raniganj in West Bengal and is expected to feature 10 – 15 bouts on the card.

The fights will have three rounds of two minutes each with one minute of rest time between the rounds. As per the organizers, no entry fee will be taken from the athletes for the event, and food, accommodation, and transport of the athletes and coaches will also be covered. There will be a cash prize of Rs. 500 for each winner along with a winner’s medal.

The fight card for the event is yet to be revealed by the promoters and the only fight announced for the show so far is a showdown between SK Raja and Nilanjan Mandal.

The event hopes to give the karate athletes a platform to perform and showcase their skills and is expected to be the first of many in the series that the team is planning.

Mansur Alam will serve as the Director of Operations for the event which will also have WEBNext Labs as the IT Partner. News247 Plus will be onboard for the event as a news partner when Adhunik Adventures will be the associate sponsor.
