Chatri Sityodtong gives possible timeline for Joshua Pacio vs. Jarred Brooks

A lot of discussions have been going on about a potential showdown between ONE Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio and Jarred Brooks.

Brooks has been a force to reckon with in the ONE Championship ever since his promotional debut and has wins over Lito Adiwang and Hiroba Minowa on his resume. The American had called for a showdown with Pacio after his win over Minowa but apparently, he might have to wait a bit.

During a recent Q and A on his Instagram page, ONE Championship Chairman Chatri Sityodtong noted that the fight between Brooks and Pacio might be possible after one or two fights only.

“Very possible in 1-2 fights more” Chatri wrote on his Instagram post when quizzed about a potential fight between Pacio and Brooks.

Pacio had earlier noted that he is ready to fight anyone. The Team Lakay star also said that he is ready to make his ONE Championship return by April or May. He is on a four-fight winning streak at the moment with his last win coming against Yosuke Saruta.

Brooks, on the other hand, is on a four-fight winning streak as well and has fought in UFC, Bellator, and Rizin before joining ONE Championship.
