ONE Championship strawweight Jarred Brooks is open to ONE Championship vs. UFC showdown against UFC Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo.
A former UFC fighter, Brooks and Figueiredo fought back in 2017 with Figueiredo taking home a controversial split decision win. Brooks has been vocal about his disagreement with the judges’ decision and believes that he did enough to win the fight.
“We could do it at flyweight, where he can make 135 [pounds] hydrated. Yeah, I want to beat the brakes off Deiveson Figueiredo as I did before, so I’m definitely ready for any kind of UFC-slash-ONE contest,” Brooks said (via Sportskeeda)

Earlier, ONE Championship Chairman Chatri Sityodtong also expressed his interest in a ONE vs. UFC Crossover card.
Brooks will be making his ONE Championship return later this month at ONE: Reloaded when he fights Bokang of South Africa with a title shot against Joshua Pacio on the line. The Monkey God has been taking shots at Pacio for a long time now and recently said that the Team Lakay star is not keen to fight him.
The 28-year-old American is currently 18-2 in his professional MMA career and only lost to Jose Torres apart from his controversial loss to Figueiredo.
Figueiredo, meanwhile, is apparently on course for another showdown with Brandon Moreno though nothing has been confirmed yet.
