Jarred Brooks has been on an impressive run ever since he made his ONE Championship debut. The former UFC star has been undefeated in the promotion so far and looks set to have a potential title eliminator bout against Bokang soon.

Though Brooks might be on route to fight Bokang next, he is having his eyes on the ONE Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio and he has been vocal about it as well.

In his recent interview with Asian MMA, Brooks went on to say that the Team Lakay star might not be keen to fight him.

“He does not seem keen to what I’m doing in the Strawweight division right now but I’m coming for Joshua Pacio no matter what. If it is going to take a month, if it is going to take a year, I’ll wait for him. For me, I’ll just get more time to clear out the rest of the division and give me more opportunities at the end of the day because once I clear the Strawweight division, it is going to be easy from there,” Brooks said.

Brooks made his ONE Championship debut with a statement win over Pacio’s teammate Lito Adiwang and followed this up with a win over Koha Minowa as well. Another win in the Strawweight division is likely to guarantee him a shot at the title.

Joshua Pacio, meanwhile, has been reigning on top of the ONE Strawweight division for a long time now and he had noted that he is ready to face both Bokang and Brooks.
