An inaugural ONE Strawweight Muay-Thai champion is set to be crowned at ONE: Reloaded on April 22, 2022 as Jackie Buntan will go up against Smilla Sundell at the event. The announcement was made by both the fighters on their respective social media pages.
"Making my way back into the [ONE Championship] circle April 22nd for the Inaugural Strawweight Muay Thai World Title,” Jackie Buntan wrote on her Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Sundell keep things a bit simpler and said that she is going for the world title in Muay-Thai.
"Going for the world title in Muay Thai,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
Smilla made her ONE Championship debut at the age of 17 and had a dominant TKO win against Diandra Martin in the fight. Buntan, meanwhile, had a similar outing in her promotional Muay-Thai debut when she outclassed Wondergirl Fairtex to take home a unanimous decision victory

Buntan then went on to secure a win over Ekaterina Vandaryeva and Daniela López which has now earned her the title shot.
ONE: Reloaded is scheduled to happen on 22 April 2022 and will be the first fight card from ONE Championship after ONE X. The event will be headlined by the showdown between Regian Eersel and Arian Sadikovic.
