WATCH: UFC Champion Israel Adesanya marks out after seeing Booker T

Israel Adesanya added another successful title defense to his resume at UFC 271 when he defeated Robert Whittaker via a decision in the main event. With the win, Adesanya remain undefeated in the Middleweight division but the success was not going to stop him from marking out for Booker T.

The former WCW and WWE champion was at the UFC 271 post-fight conference last day and also asked Adesanya a question. Adesanya not only gave Booker T a shoutout but also used the trademark catchphrase of Booker T.

A WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of his era. He started his career back in 1989 and went on to secure multiple World championships in WCW, WWE and TNA. He now works with WWE as a commentator and pre-show panelist.

As for Adesanya, with the win over Whittaker, he is now 22-1 in his professional MMA career and is on a two-fight winning streak. He had secured a decision win over Marin Vettori prior to his outing at UFC 271.
