Can knockout Islam Makhachev in the second round, notes Michael Chandler

UFC star Michael Chandler believes that he can knockout Islam Makhachev in the second round if the two were to fight.

Chandler was taking questions from the fans last day on Twitter and one of the fans asked how fast he can knockout Islam Makhachev. The former Bellator Champion noted ‘2ND’ as a reply indicating that he can do it as fast as the second round.

In the same thread, Chandler gave out a string of other answers as well including his outlook on life. When asked about his tip for aspiring parents, the UFC star had the following to say.

“Prepare to feel like a failure. You’ll never do it as perfectly as the standard you set for yourself. Remind yourself they are your most prized posession before every single interaction. Leave your ego at the door. They are watching everything. Pray for wisdom,” he tweeted.

The American also noted that Georges St. Pierre is the greatest UFC fighter of all time and added that Conor McGregor is not scared of him contrary to popular belief.

When asked about the controversy surrounding Charles Oliveira being stripped of the Lightweight title, Chandler noted that the Brazilian is still the champion.

“Gotta make weight. He’s our champ though, no doubt,” he said.

Along with this, Chandler noted that the toughest fight to prepare for him was against Tony Ferguson and his favourite performance came against Dan Hooker.
