WWE rolled out WrestleMania 38 last day and the event made headlines for all the right reasons. The event saw a long list of exciting matchups including the return of Steve Austin. Though the fans were all praise for WrestleMania, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor had a different take on the situation.

McGregor tweeted out the reason why he was not at WrestleMania and said that the professional wrestling world fears him.

“Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why,” McGregor tweeted last day.

The tweet, however, did not sit well with the professional wrestling world and drew some heat as well. The response that stood out from the lot came from former WWE champion Drew McIntyre who taunted the Irishman by calling him ‘McTapper’.

“Shut up McTapper,” McIntyre tweeted while quoting the original tweet from McGregor.

McIntyre was in action at WrestleMania and had picked up a win over Happy Corbin which ended the seven-month-long winning streak of Corbin.

This is not the first time that McGregor has drawn heat from the professional wrestling world. The Notorious had earlier exchanged some heated words with names like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, and Chris Jericho among others.
