BJJ Star Danielle Kelly signs with ONE Championship, to make MMA debut

BJJ star Danielle Kelly has announced that she has signed with ONE Championship. The announcement was made by Kelly through her Instagram page and noted that she will be making her MMA debut soon.

“Happy to announce I am officially a @onechampionship athlete. I am also proud to be a part of @evolvemma . I’ll be doing grappling bouts under them, and when I’m ready to do MMA, they’ll be the promotion I’ll fight under. can’t put into words how much this means to me. I try my best to be the best I can be whether that’s on or off the mats. I love what ONE represents. I would like to thank @johnnylaw845 @smashpassjay @silverfoxbjj for helping me with this process. I am grateful to be surrounded by amazing people. Thank you @yodchatri for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to doing great things with ONE,” Kelly noted in the post.

ONE Championship Chairman Chatri Sityodtong responded to the post and welcomed Danielle Kelly to ONE Championship.

“Welcome again to the world’s largest stage of martial arts, danielle! I’m excited to be working together!,” Chatri wrote in the comment section of the post from Danielle Kelly.

Kelly recently had secured a win over UFC title contender Carla Esparza in a grappling match and holds wins over a long list of notable names in grappling.
