Rose Namajunas goes in as a betting underdog against Danielle Kelly

As we reported earlier, reigning UFC Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas is all set to compete against BJJ standout Danielle Kelly in the main event of Fury Pro Grappling 3 Event on December 30, 2021, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

With just days ahead of the showdown, Namajunas is currently a betting underdog against Danielle Kelly. The UFC champion opened as a +240 underdog against Kelly as per many betting websites meaning that Kelly is a 3/1 favorite to win the matchup.

A BJJ Blackbelt, Kelly has already proven herself in the grappling scene and holds victories over IBJJF champions on her resume. She had also submitted UFC fighter Roxanne Modafferi recently and comes in with plenty of momentum on her side.

Namajunas, on the other hand, is coming into the match following her win over former UFC Champion Zhang Weili. She will be looking to end the year on a high and get an important win over Danielle Kelly.

Apart from the showdown between Namajunas and Kelly, there are a string of other UFC fighters competing at the event as well which will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass. Donald Cerrone, Kevin Holland, Chase Hooper, and Clay Guida are all scheduled to be in action. Interestingly, Donald Cerrone has also opened as a +165 betting underdog against his opponent Joe Solecki.
