Photos: Conor McGregor celebrates birthday in Ibiza with grand party

UFC star Conor McGregor turned 34 this past week and the former champion celebrated his birthday in style in Ibiza. Conor posted photos on his Instagram page and from the looks of it, it was indeed a grand party.

The Irishman was seen dancing and celebrating with his friends and family at the event. Conor’s mother, fiancé and training partners were present at the party which also had its fair share of Proper Twelve whiskey.

In fact, Conor posted a picture of the whiskey bottles stacked at the party venue. The former champion is reportedly edging closer to making a return to the UFC as he is recovering fast from the leg injury he picked up against Dustin Poirier.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, McGregor noted that he will be returning to the Octagon soon and added that he is indeed interested in having another boxing match.

Boxing is my first love in combat sports. I had such a great time the last time I was out there.

"Obviously, my return will be in the octagon for UFC - that story is far from over, in fact it's just being written, it is just the beginning. But, boxing, for sure I will grace the squared circle again in the future,” Conor noted.

McGregor currently holds a professional MMA record of 22-6 to his name and is currently on a two-fight losing streak at the moment. His last win came against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020. Prior to that, he had suffered a loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov as well at UFC 229.
