The ONE Championship Lightweight Title fight between Christian Lee and Ok Rae Yoon headlined ONE Revolution today in Singapore.

The first round saw Christian Lee getting the better of Ok. Despite the better spell, Ok had answers to all the questions that Christian raised in the round. A cautious approach unfolded from the fighters in the second round. It was the champion that had the better moments in the second round as well. Christian also got the back of Ok at one point but failed to finish.

Ok lifted the tempo in the third round and landed some huge shots before Christian pulled off a punch of his own which dropped Ok. The round ended with both fighters standing and exchanging. The pace came down a bit in the fourth round but Ok had his fair share of explosive moments. Ok seemed like the fresher man inside the cage in the fifth round and was giving trouble to the champion at every turn. Christian had a final flurry towards the end of the fifth round and managed to wobble Ok as well. The South Korean recovered fast and pushed the fight to the distance.

The judges ruled the fight in favor of Ok Rae Yoon via a unanimous decision and crowned him as the new ONE Lightweight Champion.

Christian Lee came into the title fight on the back of an impressive six-fight winning streak which saw him pick up wins over names like Iuri Lapicus, Timofey Nastyukhin, Shinya Aoki, Eduard Kelly, Saygid Arslanaliev, and Kazuki Tokudome. Interestingly, his sister Victoria Lee had also picked up a win on the ONE Revolution card when she defeated Victoria Souza in the opening fight of the main card.

Ok Rae Yoon came into the fight after his win over Eddie Alvarez. Prior to this, Ok was on a three-fight winning streak as well having defeated Marat Gafurov, Won Bin Ki, and Burenzorig Batmunkh.

ONE Revolution was the latest offering from ONE Championship after ONE: Empower which was an all-women fight card from the promotion. ONE Revolution was headlined by three title fights with Christian Lee defending his Lightweight World Title against Ok Rae Yoon when Capitan went up against Mehdi Zatout in a Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title Fight.

Joshua Pacio vs. Yosuke Saruta for the ONE Strawweight title was the third title fight on offer at the event which also had Martin Nguyen, Amir Aliakbari, Victoria Lee, and many others on the card.

After ONE Revolution, ONE will be returning with ONE: First Strike one October 15 which will feature a string of exciting kickboxing and Muay-Thai bouts. What are your thoughts on the result of the matchup? Let us know in the comment section of the article below.
