The war of words has begun for the biggest fight of the year in Sweden and Europe. BRAVE Combat Federation world champion Jarrah Al-Selawe has fought back at his future opponent Khamzat Chimaev with yet another provoking image on social media. After being called a chicken by "Borz", the current titleholder compared his rival to a sheep in a wolf's skin.
Al-Selawe and Chimaev will meet at the main event of BRAVE CF 37, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 18th, in association with AK Fighting Championships. But both men seem intent on getting the upper hand on their opponent.
Chimaev started the proceedings by posting a photo in which his wolf ate a chicken, and left only its leg dangling out. He then tagged Jarrah and asked his opponent if that was his leg.
After that, Jarrah said the "wolf would cry soon", but then doubled up on the insults by uploading an image of a sheep getting out of a wolf's clothing, emulating and twisting the famous saying.
The BRAVE CF 37 main event has been hailed by MMA legend Alexander Gustafsson as the biggest fight of the year in Sweden, and it opposes two of the best Welterweight fighters on the planet - Jarrah Al-Selawe, who's widely recognized as the greatest fighter in Middle East history, against Khamzat Chimaev, touted as the number one prospect in Europe.
