Bi Nguyen suffered yet another decision loss in ONE Championship this past weekend when she was outclassed by Lin Heqin at ONE: Bad Blood.
With the loss, Nguyen dropped to 6-8 in her professional MMA career and there were a lot of debates happening on the internet after a post-fight video was posted by ONE Championship where Nguyen gave a cryptic message about possible retirement.

The ONE Championship star, however, has now released a statement of her own through her Instagram page and cleared the air.
“As you saw, I lost yet again by the decision. I’ve been falling for these decisions and I need to figure it out. If you watch my fights, I start slow and always pull it out third round but it is always too little too late. I need to figure it out why I’m not showing up to these fights the way I know I can, the way I train, and the way my skill is set up. No excuses. It is a mental thing that I want to figure out. I just want to say a big thank you to all. I hope you enjoy the journey, I’ve been putting it all out there for you guys to see, the ups and downs, the bruises and scars. Blessed to have you guys support me no matter what and I’ll continue to be transparent with my journey and I hope you guys can be a kind to me because I’m going to show myself a bit of grace and take a break,” Bi Nguyen said in a video posted on her Instagram page.
