Bellator 242 results: Sergio Pettis defeats Ricky Bandejas in the main event

Bellator MMA returned with Bellator 242 this weekend and had Sergio Pettis vs. Ricky Bandejas as the main event for the show.

The fight between Pettis and Bandejas went the complete distance with Pettis picking up unanimous decision win comfortably on the scorecards. With the win, Pettis improved his record to 20-5 and improved his winning streak to three fights. Bandejas, on the other hand, is now 13-4 after the defeat and snapped his two-fight winning streak.

In the co-main event, Jason Jackson managed to get the better of Jordan Mein via a unanimous decision while Jay Jay Wilson also got a decision win against Tywan Claxton.

Aaron Pico produced an impressive performance against Solo Hatley by securing a first-round submission win when the likes of Mark Lemminger, Raufeon Stots and Ras Hylton also got wins in the preliminary fight card. Thanks to his win, Pico is now on a two-fight winning streak and improved his record to 6-3.
