BRAVE Combat Federation star Mario Saeed details his outlook on fighting

BRAVE Combat Federation’s new signee Mario Saeed has his path to success clearly mapped out: focus on hard work and keep your family in mind all times.

 “We are all unique in our own way, but what makes me better than the rest is my work ethic. I train every day to prepare for fights and go long periods of time without seeing my family, blood and otherwise. I am loyal to those that are loyal to me as a family is not just blood it’s those that you hold close”.

With a very vocal and outgoing personality, Saeed ensured that this lasts only until the bell rings. “When I am in the cage all of the bravado stops and it's like going to work. I know that the other guy is there to hurt me and stop my victory so I know I must do the same – it's all for my family. I fight for my family so that my kids can have a better life. The only thing I hold closer to me than fighting is the privilege that I get to be the father to two amazing kids. Having kids is the best feeling as you learn so much from watching them grow”.

His strong work ethic is not only applied when he’s hitting the mats and preparing for a fight. Saeed also worked as a driving instructor and is proud about his accomplishments.

“As a driver instructor, I hold a 100% success rate for my students. They all passed. I’m really proud of it”, he said. “Of course, I’m also proud of my accomplishments inside the cage but for me that’s how it goes: if I’m doing something, I’m giving it all, no matter what”.

This vision of Saeed’s is not something that was always with him, “as a young man I made plenty of mistakes. At the same time, I believe this is something that has made me a better father and a stronger person, I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for it. I have no regrets but I want to leave a different legacy”.

Asked about what would be this legacy, Mario’s answer mixed his personal and professional life. “I want to be remembered for bringing action and excitement to the cage but on a more personal note being known as a nice guy, loyal to friends and most of all the best father to my kids”, he stated.

With a 13-4 professional record and multiple titles in the British MMA scene, Mario “Rudeboy” Saeed recently signed a multi-fight deal with BRAVE Combat Federation and is expected to make his debut for the truly global promotion within the upcoming months.
