SBG Ireland’s Cian Cowley will look to break a losing streak at BRAVE CF 41, on September 17th, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He will move up to Super Lightweight to meet Ahmed ‘’The Butcher’’ Amir.
A Muay-Thai fighter who holds multiple national titles, Cowley is a five-fight BRAVE CF veteran, and started well with the promotion, winning his first two fights for the fastest-growing organization in the world, before dropping his next three contests.
He now moves up from Lightweight to face off against Amir, who has previously trained at SBG Ireland as well.
An Egypt national, Ahmed Amir has been training under the KHK MMA banner for the last few years, when he moved to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the country which he now represents.
Amir’s next challenge will be probably the most important one in his professional career, as he takes on an established name in Cowley.
BRAVE CF 41 will take place on September 17 and will be a closed-door event, following the most strict safety and security protocols. It will be the first of three shows, labeled the Kombat Kingdom.
In the main event, Middleweight world champion Daniel Gaucho will look to defend his crown for the first time against Arab MMA legend Mohammad Fakhreddine. Also set for fight night is the rematch of one of the best-ever BRAVE CF fights as Brazilians Luan ‘’Miau’’ Santiago will look for revenge against Lucas ‘’Mineiro’’, in a battle of former Lightweight champions.
