BRAVE Combat Federation will pit two of the best young Featherweights in the world in its Sweden Finale, set for BRAVE CF 40, on Monday, August 24th. Shoaib Yousaf and Mochamed Machaev have been recognized for their blossoming careers in the professional ranks, but their list of achievements in the amateur scene is even greater.

After he started training in Kyokushin karate at 7 years old, Machaev became a junior world champion four years later, solidifying his wishes for a career in martial arts. Known for his wrestling prowess, "Beast" only started training in the discipline at 16, after he won another world title in another sport.

In 2015, he scored a WAKO junior world title in kickboxing to go along with more than 30 tournament wins he has in Kyokushin karate to build an impressive resume before he even stepped foot in MMA training. A few months later, Machaev started mixing the disciplines and has never looked back.

Now at 20 years of age and with an undefeated pro-MMA record of 9-0, he's nearing a title shot at BRAVE Combat Federation. On his way, stands another prodigy.

Shoaib Yousaf has made headlines way before he started his professional career. Training in martial arts also since he was 7, "The Assassin" started to seriously engage in jiu-jitsu and boxing when he was 14 and shocked the amateur MMA world in 2016 when he took home the gold medal in the IMMAF World Championships.

After a perfect amateur career, Yousaf went pro and has only one defeat in eight bouts. He's currently riding a five-fight win streak that he hopes will increase to six and land him a title shot at the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world.
