Bidang Fighting Championship 2: Sumit Bhyan vs. Hemant Wadekar headlines

The main event of Bidang Fighting Championship 2 will see Sumit Bhyan going up against Hemant Wadekar in a Welterweight contest. The announcement was made by Bidang Fighting Championship last day.

Hemant Wadekar has been a mainstay in the Indian MMA circuit since 2013 and holds a professional record of 6-3 to his name. Fighting out of Crosstrain Fight Club, Hemant is currently on a two-fight winning streak at the moment and will be looking to extend the same when he steps into the cage with Sumit.

Sumit, on the other hand, will be making his professional MMA debut at Bidang Fighting Championship 2. Fighting out of Team Relentless, Sumit had an impressive run in Amateur MMA which saw him pick up multiple international medals. He picked up silver at the GAMMA World Championship a few years back and recently won a silver medal at the GAMMA Asian Championship as well.

Elsewhere, as reported earlier, the co-main event of BFC 2 will see an exciting contest between Seth Rosario and Dushan Burle. Himanshu Kaushik vs. Veinii Suffix will also happen at the event. You can see the complete fight card for the event below if you missed it.
