The much-awaited trilogy fight between Aung La N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash will happen on April 21, 2021, at ONE on TNT III. The announcement was made by ONE Championship on their website and it is also noted that the winner of the fight will become the number one contender for the ONE Middleweight Title.

Aung La N Sang is coming off a defeat against Reinier De Ridder and has made it clear that he wants to win back the ONE Middleweight title from De Ridder. The ‘Burmese Python’ holds a professional record of 26-11 to his name and was riding high on a seven-fight winning streak prior to his defeat to De Ridder.

Bigdash, meanwhile, is currently 10-2 in his professional career and is coming off a win against Yuki Niimura at ONE: Destiny of Champions. The last time these two fought, Aung La N Sang had picked up a win via Unanimous Decision when Bigdash had picked up the win in their first fight which happened via a Unanimous Decision as well. The stakes are high considering the rivalry that these two fighters have and the trilogy is expected to settle the debates.

ONE on TNT III will be part of ONE Championship’s four-part series on TNT which will kickstart on April 7, 2021, with the card headlined by Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson for the ONE Flyweight title.

This will then be followed by ONE on TNT II featuring Christian Lee and Timofey Nastyukhin on April 14, 2021, for the ONE Lightweight World championship. The main event for ONE on TNT IV is yet to be announced by the promotion. What are your predictions for the fight? Let us know in the comment section below.
