The BRAVE CF Flyweight Tournament winner has yet to be decided, with Ali Bagautinov and Velimurad Alkhasov the last men standing. But a new contender might be around the corner, waiting for the resolution of the competition to emerge as a challenger.

Asu Almabayev thoroughly impressed in his promotional debut, when he submitted Aleksander Doskalchuk - winning two prizes in the BRAVE CF 2021 Awards in the process. This has allowed him to establish himself as one of the new stars of a new wave of MMA fighters in Kazakhstan.

The 2021 Breakout Fighter of The Year and the Submission of the Year winner has a new challenge in front of him and is ready to confirm his name is at the top of the best Flyweight division in the world.

One of Kazakh MMA’s brightest talents, Almabayev faces Imran Magaramov at BRAVE CF 57, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on March 11th, and is confident a strong performance will be enough to put him right there as a title contender at 125 pounds.

‘’Zulfikar’’ has been exploding in the Central Asia scene in the last few years and has now transcended his name to the global stage. Another victory, this time in Bahrain, and his name will be on every Flyweight’s hit list - even if the belt isn’t around his waist yet.
