The much-awaited Heavyweight clash between Amir Aliakbari and Anatoly Malykhin happened today at ONE: Revolution.
Anatoly Malykhin was moving forward from the start itself and managed to land some huge shots. He dropped Aliakbari in the second-minute mark and got control of Aliakbari's neck with ease. Malykhin landed a string of knees to the head of Aliakbari before the fighters separated. Malykhin soon found the finish and knocked out Aliakbari in the first round itself. It was also announced that Anatoly Malykhin will now be facing Arjan Bhullar for the ONE Heavyweight Title next.
Amir Aliakbari came into the fight at ONE Revolution on the back of a defeat against Kang Ji Won at ONE: Fists of Fury 2 back in March 2021. It was his promotional debut as well at the event and prior to that, Amir was on a five-fight winning streak.
Anatoliy, meanwhile, came into the match undefeated with a record of 8-0 to his name. He made his ONE Championship debut at ONE: Fists of Fury 2 as well against Alexandre Machado and secured a TKO victory at the event.

Joshua Pacio vs. Yosuke Saruta for the ONE Strawweight title was the third title fight on offer at the event which also had Martin Nguyen, Amir Aliakbari, Victoria Lee, and many others on the card.
