Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov might be done with Mixed Martial Arts but we might get to see him compete in a grappling match as per his manager Ali Abdelaziz.

Last day, Ali tweeted out saying that Eagle Fighting Championship is going to have a grappling tournament soon and entertained the possibility of Khabib competing in it.

“rumors Eagle FC going to have Grappling tournament soon @TeamKhabib@Rizvan_RM can you imagine if Khabib compete also,” Ali Tweeted.

Earlier, there were rumors about Khabib locking horns with former UFC double champion Georges St. Pierre in a grappling match but the Russian superstar had denied the same.

Ali had another tweet regarding the same topic where he teased a potential return from Khabib further.

“Maybe khabib vs TBD main event  also,” he added.

Khabib retired from MMA after his win over Justin Gaethje back in UFC 254 and had an undefeated record of 29-0 to his name when he retired. He was sitting on wins against names like Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor, Al Iaquinta and Edson Barboza prior to his win against Gaethje.

After his active career, Khabib decided to put on the hat of a promoter and has been doing some exceptional work with Eagle Fighting Championship.
