Japanese kickboxing standout Yuki Yoza is prepared to deliver a brutal statement when he faces reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in a bantamweight kickboxing clash at ONE 173 in Tokyo, Japan.
The 27-year-old striker sees this fight on 16 November as his opportunity to prove he deserves a shot at bantamweight king Jonathan Haggerty, and he's willing to leave everything in the ring to make that statement.
"I don't mind if it comes down to breaking legs. I don't mind actually breaking legs. I want to break his spirit with my win," Yoza declared.
Yoza brings a perfect 2-0 ONE Championship slate and 20-2 career striking record to this crucial test. His promotional debut saw him convincingly defeat undefeated Russian powerhouse Elbrus Osmanov earlier this year.
Nearly two months later, he secured another unanimous decision victory over former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion and Thai legend Petchtanong Petchfergus. Now he seeks a third consecutive victory against one of combat sports' pound-for-pound greats.
The 29-year-old Superlek, nicknamed "The Kicking Machine," moves up from flyweight to face Yoza in this explosive bantamweight encounter. His resume includes notable victories over Jonathan Haggerty, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Takeru Segawa, and Nabil Anane.
Yoza acknowledges the immense challenge while maintaining unwavering confidence in his abilities.
"There are no weak fighters in ONE. Everyone has world-class skills and strong mental toughness. Superlek is among the very top in ONE. If I can beat him, that recognition will also come to me. I'm really looking forward to fighting him," the Japanese striker explained.

The potential rewards extend far beyond just victory, with Yoza believing he represents Superlek's ultimate test.
"I believe I'm also the only one who can beat Superlek. By achieving that, I am the one who truly deserves the belt. I want to show the world," he said.
