Dana White Plans Massive 2026 With 80+ Events, Including UFC, Power Slap, BJJ

UFC President Dana White is gearing up for what could be the busiest year of his career in 2026, as he expands his combat sports empire well beyond mixed martial arts.

White confirmed on the IMPAULSIVE podcast that the UFC will host 44 events next year under its new $7.7 billion, seven-year media rights deal with Paramount, including Fight Nights and numbered pay-per-view cards. But that’s only the beginning.

In addition to UFC events, White is set to oversee:

  • 12 Power Slap events

  • 14 UFC BJJ events

  • 16 to 18 boxing events (pending a new television deal)

That totals between 86 and 88 events in 2026, not including the Contender Series, which currently hosts 10 shows but could potentially double in size.

“Boxing isn’t on TV right now. Nobody has a TV deal,” White said. “They’re doing some DAZN fights. I’ll end up nailing down a television deal for boxing, and we’ll do 16 or 18 boxing events next year.”

UFC White House Event Planned for Summer 2026

One of the most ambitious undertakings in the pipeline is a live, free UFC event on CBS from the White House, slated for summer 2026.

“It will be live and free on CBS from the White House,” White said. “We’re building this arch, almost like the St. Louis Arch, and the lighting grid will go above the Octagon, so when we shoot this fight, this whole backdrop will be the White House.”

White described a setup that includes views of the Washington Monument, a connected park area hosting 85,000 fans, concerts, and a UFC X fan experience.

“We’re going to take over D.C. the whole week,” he said.

Building a Vision

Despite the packed schedule and ambitious projects, White credits his seasoned team for keeping operations on track.

“You have to build a great team,” he said. “No one guy does anything themselves. You have to build a great team, and you have to create the vision for what you’re building and what you want to do.”

With a “well-oiled machine” already in place, White believes the UFC and its affiliated brands are positioned for unprecedented growth heading into 2026.
