Warrior’s Dream Series 7: Thiru vs. Naina headlines, Surbala fights Radha

Warrior’s Dream Series returns with its seventh edition, Warrior’s Dream Series 7 on 10 and 11 February 2024. The event, which will be held at the Fit and Fight Club in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, will feature fights across K1, BJJ, Amateur MMA and Pro MMA.

Day 1 of the event will feature K1 and BJJ bouts featuring athletes from around the country while Day 2 will be dedicated completely for MMA bouts. The event will be capped off with the Pro MMA card featuring seven exciting bouts.

The opening fight of the card will be Karan Chauhan returning for another showdown at Warrior’s Dream Series as he fights Gaurav. Karan will be looking to break his losing streak at the event when Gaurav presents a formidable challenge.

Prathamesh Deshpande will fight Arsalan Malik in a Catchweight bout and will be eager to build on his recent win against Kimson Tony at Warrior's Dream Series 6. Arsalan Malik, on the other hand, has tasted victory under the WDS banner and has the job of stopping his Cobra Thai counterpart.

BRAVE CF alumni and IMMAF Indian Team member Ganesh Raj will be making his professional MMA debut against Siddharth who has been unstoppable at Warrior’s Dream Series. Siddharth is coming on the back of a quick submission win in his last WDS fight when Ganesh is looking to kick start his Professional MMA career on a strong note.

Prathmesh Kenjale, who has been piling up wins in the promotion will face off against Santosh Bag. Santosh is returning to WDS after a small gap and the last time he fought, he had secured an impressive win.

Savar, who stopped Ketan Gharat in his last outing will be looking to get another win to his name when he fights hometown favourite Sarthik Hegde.  

Former GAMMA MMA World Champion Surbala Laishram will be making her professional MMA debut in the co-main event when she fights Radha Gupta. Surbala was initially supposed to fight Reshma Sakpal but Reshma was forced to withdraw due to an injury.

The Main Event will see an all-Chennai showdown when Thiru Balachandiran of Dynamics MMA fights Mohammed Naina of Combat Kinetics. Thiru is a former WDS Featherweight Title Contender when Naina is a multiple-time Amateur MMA national champion returning after a long gap.
