VIDEO: Vikas Singh Ruhil makes weight for his PFL Challenger Series fight

Indian MMA Fighter Vikas Singh Ruhil has made weight for his PFL Challenger Series Fight which happens on 4 March 2023.

Vikas, who trains out of Team Relentless in India was not even breaking a sweat when he stepped onto the weigh scale. The Indian made weight on his first attempt itself and weighed in at 145.8 Pounds for his Featherweight bout.

He will be locking horns with James Gonzalez at the event. James also made weight for the fight and came in at 146 Pounds at the weigh in.

The American will be stepping into the fight as a replacement for Igeu "Smiley" Kabesa who was initially supposed to fight Vikas. Kabesu, however, had visa issues due to which he was replaced by James Gonzalez.

James comes into the fight on the back of an impressive win at Bellator 282. He will be looking to get another win on his resume before his next showdown in LFA.

Vikas, on the other hand, is on a seven-fight winning streak at the moment. His last fight came at Matrix Fight Night after which he had taken a 2.5 year gap for surgery.

One of the eight fighters in the featherweight bracket will be receiving a PFL Contract with the decision being made based on the celebrity judges and fan voting. The voting for the fans will be open on fight day on the PFL Website
