UFC Fight Night: Evloev vs. Murphy took place Sunday at The O2 Arena, delivering a competitive night of action in front of 18,000 fans, with a reported gate of $4.5 million.
In the featherweight main event, Movsar Evloev remained unbeaten, earning a majority decision win over Lerone Murphy. Murphy started sharply, using movement and counter striking, but Evloev surged late, securing takedowns and landing key shots to sway the judges.
"The last two weeks of Ramadan, getting the visa, it all came at one time. My friends couldn't come to support me, just me and my coaches. It was big pressure with no rest. At the end, I just told myself, let it go and do what you must no. Now here we are, 20-0. Everything I went through paid off," Evloev said.
In the co-main event, Luke Riley defeated Michael Aswell Jr. by unanimous decision after a striking-heavy contest across three rounds.
"I felt like walking out, I didn't have too many (emotions), I was calm, really. Aswell thought he could outwork me, but I out-volumed him. A lot of people in the division probably think they can beat me, they're all signed and they haven't, so sign the next one up," Riley said.
Performance bonuses were awarded to Iwo Baraniewski and Shanelle Dyer, while the fight between Mason Jones and Axel Sola earned Fight of the Night honors. Additional finish bonuses went to Danny Silva and Brando Peričić.
