UFC Fight Night Results: Gabriel Bonfim Knocks Out Randy Brown

Gabriel Bonfim delivered one of the cleanest knockouts of his career Sunday at UFC Fight Night, stopping Randy Brown with a perfectly timed knee to secure his No. 14 welterweight ranking.

Bonfim opened the fight with heavy leg kicks, slowing Brown early. In Round 2, Brown dipped to evade a punch, but Bonfim’s rising knee caught him flush, sending him crashing backward and forcing an immediate stoppage. After the win, Bonfim called out No. 10 contender Colby Covington, saying he is ready to “retire him” and take his ranking.

In the co-main event, Joseph Morales made a triumphant return to the UFC after earning his spot back through The Ultimate Fighter. Morales submitted Matt Schnell in the first round, using a sweep to take top position before locking in a guillotine choke. He said the plan was to capitalize whenever Schnell initiated the grappling — and the opening came exactly as expected.

Four fighters earned Performance of the Night bonuses: Bonfim, Josh Hokit, Christian Leroy Duncan, and Zach Reese.
