UFC 303 Full Results: Alex Pereira knocks out Jiri Procházka in the main event

UFC 303 went down today and despite the last-minute changes, the event proved to be a memorable one for the fans. 

In the main event of the night, Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka locked horns with the Light Heavyweight title on the line. Pereira had a slight edge with his striking in the first round and dropped Jiri in the closing seconds of the round to assert his dominance. Pereira closed the fight within seconds of the second round after he knocked down Jiri with a head kick and followed up with punches to finish the fight and retain the title. 

Diego Lopes secured his fourth consecutive UFC victory, but it was hard-fought as Dan Ige stepped in on short notice and challenged him throughout the fight. Lopes started aggressively, pushing the pace against Ige, who replaced Brian Ortega on Saturday afternoon. The fighters traded blows in the first two rounds, with Lopes having the upper hand. However, Ige rallied in the third as Lopes began to tire. Despite Ige's late surge, all three judges scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Lopes, earning him a unanimous decision and improving his UFC record to 4-1.

In a highly anticipated matchup at UFC 303, Macy Chiasson secured a victory over Mayra Bueno Silva via TKO due to a doctor stoppage. The fight, which featured ranked bantamweights, saw a competitive first round followed by a decisive moment in the second round.

After a back-and-forth opening round, Chiasson managed to bring Bueno Silva to the canvas, delivering a powerful elbow that caused a severe cut. When the fighters returned to their feet, the fight was paused to assess the injury. The severity of the gash led to the bout being halted by the doctor.

Roman Dolidze capitalized on a short-notice opportunity, securing a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Smith in the light heavyweight division. After a cautious first round, Dolidze dominated the second, taking advantage of a stumble by Smith to control the remainder of the round. Although Smith rallied in the final minutes, it wasn’t enough to overturn Dolidze’s lead.

Dolidze’s victory snapped a two-fight losing streak and marked his third win in the light heavyweight division, maintaining his undefeated record in this weight class.

The main card opener featured Ian Machado Garry against Michael "Venom" Page in a bout that showcased each fighter's strengths. Machado Garry controlled the first round on the canvas, taking Page's back and landing consistent strikes. In the second round, Page kept the fight standing, delivering significant blows to the unbeaten Irishman. The third round saw a mix of both, with Machado Garry eventually securing a dominant position.

The judges scored the fight in favor of Machado Garry, who improved his record to 15-0. This win solidifies his status as a promising welterweight, successfully navigating a challenging opponent to maintain his perfect record.
