UFC 279 India Time and Full Fight Card

UFC 279: DIAZ VS FERGUSON will air live in Asia on Sunday, from UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The main card will start at 10 am (Hong Kong) and the prelims begin at 6 am and will be live in India from 7:30 AM IST on 11 September 2022. All athletes have weighed in and 13 bouts are official to proceed.

In a last-minute update to UFC 279, there is a new main event: two all-action UFC favourites Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson will now face each other in a five-round welterweight bout.

Formerly scheduled against Diaz in the main event, Khamzat Chimaev was unable to make weight, and due to his weight management issues, the UFC medical team advised him to stop cutting weight. Chimaev will move up to a catchweight bout of 180 lbs and face Kevin Holland in the new five-round co-main event.

For the third fight on the main card, Li Jingliang will now face Daniel Rodriguez in a 180-lb. catchweight bout. Leech made weight for what was originally scheduled as a welterweight bout.
