Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai Rises From Two Knockdowns To Conquer Anar Mammadov

Lumpinee Stadium witnessed one of its most dramatic finishes in recent memory on 12 June as The Inner Circle 18 and ONE Friday Fights 158 unfolded in Bangkok, Thailand. Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai was dropped twice in the first round. He won the fight anyway — unanimous decision over Anar "Atilla" Mammadov in flyweight Muay Thai.

Mammadov had promised a quick finish. He nearly delivered. Two liver shots inside the first three minutes put Tomyamkoong on the canvas twice, and "Atilla" came swarming for the stoppage each time. The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym fighter absorbed everything, cleared his head, and survived to the bell on grit alone.

Round two belonged entirely to Tomyamkoong. He restrategised, countered Mammadov's aggression with a knockdown left hook, opened a cut with short elbows from the clinch, and proceeded to methodically dismantle his opponent across rounds two and three. All three judges saw it the same way. Record: 128 wins. His fourth straight ONE Championship victory.

Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot was composed when composure mattered most. Down against Maisangkum's aggressive body attack in the opener of the ONE Friday Fights 158 strawweight Muay Thai main event, the 22-year-old switched to southpaw in round two — landing elbows, push kicks, and a head kick that shifted the fight completely.

Maisangkum threw everything in round three. Petnamkhong answered with jabs, a cut-opening short elbow, and enough clean strikes from multiple angles to keep the scorecards firmly in his favour at the final bell. Three straight wins. Record: 46-9. The strawweight division is paying attention.

Mamuka Usubyan's ONE Championship record now reads 4-0 — and it has never looked more convincing. The Russian featherweight kickboxer frustrated debutant Enzo Kartoum from the opening bell with a textbook long-range game: sharp jab, probing body kicks, footwork that neutralised every combination the ISKA World Champion attempted. Unanimous decision. Record: 24-2.
